best week ever

janae went home this morning. it was sad to see her go, but it was really good to see her, so i'd say it's a great trade-off. we went to the coast, went around quito. swam in some ocean, ran on some beaches, ate some food, saw some sights, slept or didn't sleep on some overnight bus rides, got some wallet stolen (mine), climbed some mountains, played some soccer...it was a very full week that went by much too fast. a complete photo telling or word telling would be hard--it took me two hours to write it all in my journal today--so here's a list, and here's a sunset.

Yeah, well, that's nothing. This past week in Lincoln, um, the sun went up and down, uh, cars went to work and school and home, um, yeah, study for finals, um, i tried to figure out how to get rid of the car... oh wait, the one isnt near as exotic as the other!

Tu hermano.
(or is it el hermano de tu?)

Somehow tu hermano failed to mention that he did attend a ballet last week. The Russian National Ballet. Now that's exotic. And culture.

oh my gosh. jason at a ballet. what would colin cowherd say?? (seriously, tell him i said that) these comments are just as exciting as the entry (mostly because i already talked to you about it all). and yes, great description of salamanca - that's exactly what it is. college town in a medieval city.

wow... so much attention for this mysterious hermano. well, whoever he is, we should definitely ask him what "pants-too-tight-man" had to do with a bear.

Hey Jeremy. I took one of those splendid trips from blog to blog by way of comments. It sure is the quickest and most exiting way to travel. And so I assume that I've just made my way to Equador! I hope life is treating you well. Its fun to see what you're up to. All my love - Brian
